Deep purple color with a nose of dark berries, cherries, violets and plums.
Luscious purple fruit in the mouth; some tartness but still very appealing. I had this with a frozen dinner (yes, I resort to those sometimes on work days) of Salisbury steak and macaroni and cheese and for lunch with a grilled cheese sandwich and Wolfgang Puck's tomato basil soup. Another big hit for Brouilly! I love some of those Brouilly and Fleurie Beaujolais wines!
Tonight I plan to open a Trevor Jones Virgin Chardonnay (unwooded).
