Had this at lunch at Saint Jacques in Raleigh with a warm goat cheese salad with bacon.
12% alcohol. Pale to medium straw color. Floral bouquet--white blossoms. Mellow and pleasing on the palate. Slightly off-dry.
Not evocative of a particular fruit other than general chenin blanc profile with some sweetness. I found it quite enjoyable and worth seeking out. The 2002 version of this is carried by The Wine Merchant of Raleigh and Cary, NC for $10.99 and the description mentions peach and apricot fruit.
