Had this with lunch at Bistro Lepic on Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown, Washington, DC. I didn't get the particulars on the vintage, but found it to be a very clean, pleasant, lemony s.b. I was having a sauteed shrimp, mussels and vegetable dish and was debating between a Marsannay red from pinot noir or a Macon-Lugny chardonnay, both available by the glass. When I asked the waiter for his recommendation, he came up with the Sancerre. I notice one shop sells Christian Salmon Sancerre old vines for $13.89 which seems a fair price.
