Very pale in the glass, subtle nose of coastal bermuda grass with a sprinkling of grapefruit; soft entry, not sharply tangy at all but bright with mellow fruit, moderate finish. Excellent food wine with roasted chicken breasts and fresh okra GUMBO! Yee-haa! 12.5% alc/vol and $12.99 per. Stock up.

Never heard of this producer.

I had never heard of it either.
Fine print on the label says "Mis en bouteille par Oscar Brllant" suggesting Brillant ia a negociant. And right below tat, it says "Cave Oscar Brillant 18500 Sancerre France" (could be 18300.... eyes having trouble with fine print). Imported by Misa Imports of Dallas (misaimports.com). That Website doesn't mention this wine.... but a Google search turns up another importer, Big Vintage Imports in Atlanta (bigvintage.com).

Had another tonight with shrimp GUMBO (okra was fresh-picked this afternoon). First bottle wasn't a fluke.... this is a very nice Sancerre at a give-away price. Chipping away at a case all too quickly.

I just had the 2007 tonight. Still $12.99 at Costco. I never had the 2006 but it seems similar to what Hotwine described. A great value, worth a case purchase. A little grass but not too much, and good balance overall. Not a very strong personality but very recognizable as a Sancerre and for my taste (and at that price), a great go-to white for the summer. Worked very well with sushi.
