100% Romorantin $15 12%

Really interesting wine. This is the first time I've had Romorantin. Definitely wouldn't mistake it for any other grape, nor anything but Loire.

There's a greenness that's more herbal than grassy, mixed with nuttiness and almost riesling-like "grapiness" and minerality.
Very dry, and full-bodied, especially considering the minerality and crisp acidity.

Very interesting, and definitely much enjoyed.
