Paired tonight with grilled speckled trout (leftover from last night's grilling, with which we enjoyed a Dom. de la Rossignole Sancerre, on which I've posted previoulsy), with diced tomato, garlic, olive oil and white wine reduction. The fish was still good, but this wine was not - a petrol nose, with sour lemon peel across the palate and much too long a finish for such plonk. It was $9.99 when purchased a couple of years ago, at least triple it's fair price. If you run across it at your retailer's, keep on a-runnin'.

Whoops. Maybe our kind moderator will move this to the proper forum.
