13% alcohol
Opened 14 Oct 2004. Medium straw to pale gold color; some petillance (bubbles) at first. Nose of lemon or other citrus fruit with a slight ammonia scent (not too off-putting). Flavors of lemon and gooseberry. Nicely structured. Liked it better than when I first tried it last year. This may be a Sauvignon Blanc that improves with a few years in bottle. Very pleasing with both crispness and fruitiness.

Hey, there may be hope for you yet!

This is a good house that you can always depend on.

El Bucko kindly informed me a while back that Sancerres need a few whiskers on them. I agree, but trouble is, I can't leave 'em alone long enough to grow any.
