Summer time so Muscadet time!

Nose of citrus, lemon, simple, a bit on the light side, but dry and refreshing. Lacking some acidity and definitely light in the mineral and saline side which I miss. I should've payed just a bit more for the Luneau-Papin that was sitting beside it......cheap bastard......

I look for the salinity and acidity also. Was disappointed in a 2007 Pepiere Muscadet that may have had heat or storage problems (others complained of that vintage from Pepiere, usually a top producer) and I have another bottle still to consume (or not.)

Which Pepiere? The 2007 Briords is awesome.

It was the regular Muscadet et Sevre Sur Lie. I have another bottle that is probably faulty plus one of the Briords from 2007. Good to hear that the Briords was possibly not heat-damaged and a reminder that I should open it this summer.
