so still some good comfort food on the menu. what would people recomend to go with a chicken or turkey pot pie?

I would go with a low oak (french)chardonnay, bubbly or Pinot Grigio.

Again, low oak and high acid. The sauce in pot pies tend to be gelatinous and the acid will cut through it.

hey there, its white meat so it should be white wine in theory. Since its potatoes involved and its probably gonna be greasy i think you could choose a nice and oily riesling which could be ql, cause the german ones (that you probably have a lot of in the USA) have a lot of acidity that will clean your palate. Id recommend making te pie with red onions and choosing a riesling or pinot grigio.
