What wine (preferably in the $10-20 range) goes well with pesto chicken? Is there, specifically, a Northwest wine?

I prefer whites with pesto. The whole herb/nut thing just works better for me with clean whites. One that I had recently was Henry Estate Pinot Gris from Umpqua Valley. This is not the flowery style like most NW Pinot Gris, but more of a powerful, clean style, (think Alsace).
If you think of the style of most Italian whites, (dry, little or no oak) you won't go wrong.Things like Pinot Grigio, Soave, and Gavi are the classics with this food.

I agree with Jason's answer.
