the Olympics? I adore the feel of the entire event. For the most part the athletes are just everyday people(mostly kids)who, along with their families, have worked and sacrificed to get where they are. No overpaid, coddled sports celebrites. No one getting the world's attention by apologizing for immoral behavior. No politicians slinging mud at each other. The Olympics are truly one of humankind's finest offerings to civilization.

I've been glued to the telly since opening ceremonies. Some of the competitions are so intense I forget to take a sip. WW

WW, maybe you should have planned one of your sabbaticals to coincide with the games! Keep your mind off things if you know what I mean!
