Had nine adults, one child and one infant - Judy, me, niece Meghan, daughter Kristin and her husband and two sons, son Stephen and his (almost, maybe) fiance and her friend from Malaysia (dental school classmate) and her mother from Nairobi, Kenya. Quite a crew!! We did the whole, traditional bit - turkey, mashed potatoes, mashed turnips, regular breadcrumb stuffing, cornbread stuffing, haricots verts, carrots, brocolli, pickles, Iggy's rolls, gravy, and probably something I've forgotten. Wines (all Pinot Noir) were Loring 04 Rosella's, 04 Navillus Birney Sonoma Coast, 05 Loring Russell and 05 Loring Cargasacchi. Desserts were Apple pie, Pumpkin pie, Blueberry pie and something called Paula Deen's Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake (brought by Kristin). With dessert we had the 04 Piety Flats Late Harvest Viognier (bought on the visit out to Kat country). It appears a good time was had by all.

Some of those Pinots sound as big as our Fatboy. With five red wine drinkers, we also killed a Rosenblum California Cuvee XXXI. Hick!

Wines were as planned, plus a bottle of Domaine Carneros for the girls' mimosas; and the young bucks knocked off half a case of Shiner Bock while watching feetball after din-din. Stupendous all around! Honored to host this "extended family" of such distinguished folks!
