- Eugene Miles - 02-14-2001 I'm going to dinner tonight but I'm not sure what kind of wine to order. I'm looking for a moderately inepensive bottle of nice wine to go with Italian food. Most likely red wine. I really don't know much about wine, so if you could help me that would be great. Nothing real fancy. Let me know if you have any suggestions. thanks. - Innkeeper - 02-14-2001 Hi Eugene, and welcome to the Wine Board. If tomatoes or tomato sauce is involved you need a red wine with high acidity. Both an Italian Barbera or Chianti would fill the bill. |
