Squires site and was quickly reminded why I've never posted there but was sorely tempted to do so. They had a post on tasting a long vertical of the wines from Jordan. Naturally one of the responders had to show how much old Jordan he had in his cellar so said as he " had better start drinking his as he had the 73, 76, 78, and 81s' in his cellar. He musta' been one of Tom Jordans 1st customers as the 1st vintage of this wine was the 76 which was made from purchased grapes and the 1st Estate vintage was the 78. Egos are able to accomplish AMAZING things!!! WW

Foodster you be rite. I'd forgotten the meeny jugs of ancient amarossas'(sp) you found buried in youse back yard. Guess I'm way too old and besotted to give any measure to these idiots. The thing I think is rediculous is that all of those wine " X-Perts " that inhabit the board have not said one thing about this rediculous assertion. WW

Looks like one of the group may have run across my rant adn finally pointed out the mistake. The "OOPS" reply was that it was a Sterling. Wonder if it was a Napa or Reserve? WW
