A friend has invited me over for dinner this evening. He is serving salad greens and tomato Pie...any wine suggestions? I'm a beginner and love reds, but I'll take any suggestion!

Hi MD, and welcome to the Wine Board. Don't know where you are from or how good your choices are, but since it is already after dinner here, will give you some quick advice. Look for a Barbera from Northern California.
