I read on his web site (www.clive-coates.com - click on the notice board) that he's getting out of the rat race. He doesn't get mentioned much here, but I'm sure there are some of us that use him occasionally as a reference point.

I hope somebody will do a revision of his Cote D'Or book in years to come.

WoW, In his little farewell speech on the Notice Board he mentions that he will be doing the update for publication in probably 2006.

Good. I have that to look forward to. I was unable to access his website (probably a firewall issue).
