- Botafogo - 11-06-2001

For those of you on our snail mail list for WINE EXPO I am very interested to hear when you get our Holiday Catalogue which goes to the post office tommorow. Due to the USPS telling us that bulk mail would probably arrive in mid December to east coast addresses, we sent all 20,000 of them 1st class (OUCH!!!!! on the $ front). So, if any of you in the WINE EXPO-ista diaspora out there could give me a call on the toll free line (1-800-WINE EXPO) when you get it I would REALLY be cheered up. Thanks, Roberto

PS, Foodie, how goes it in the Big apple?

Send me a holiday mailer too...

It goes here in Manhattan, but it does not go as it used to.

- Botafogo - 11-06-2001

Foodie, will do and here is an excellent opportunity to plug your store:

What is your snail mail address and phone ?

Snark, snark, Roberto

- Thomas - 11-07-2001

Geez, I thought our snail mail address and phone number were listed on our marvelously designed, super creative Web site...www.is-wine.com

Foodie, good gracious! Don't you realize Boto-Robo spends so much time in Rio his English reading skills have grossly eroded. WW

- Botafogo - 11-07-2001

No, Verne, it's my ITALIAN that's suffered gravely due to speaking portugues all the time (they are similar enough to be a BIG problem). As to Foodie's site, it's more a case of I'm so busy I rarely look at many web sites other than this one and allbrazilianmusic.com

did you get my phone message (Verne that is?)

Roberto

- Thomas - 11-07-2001

cpurvis, thanks; it's about time someone noticed my talent for being informative without overkilling--imagine how effective I would be as a politician!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- winoweenie - 11-08-2001

An Oxymoron. WW

- cpurvis - 11-09-2001

Foodie, stick to wine, garlic & OO...can't trust your opinions anymore if you become a politician

Back to my original question, anyone get our mailer today???

We've been out of control here due to the e-mail but the Holiday catalogue is the big magilla...

Roberto

- Thomas - 11-09-2001

I didn't get one.

- mrdutton - 11-09-2001

Got your e-mail from AOL.COM.

Have not seen anything in the snail mail yet.

Best regards!!

- winoweenie - 11-10-2001

Mine hasn't arrived but that's to be expected as we'uns are always treated like poor relations and sent to the back of the bus. WW

- winecollector - 11-13-2001

Just received mine today!

- mrdutton - 11-13-2001

Thanks, Foodie, I sent yours by hand later. I would love your responses...

Roberto

- Thomas - 11-23-2001

Roberto, I just finished reading it--it's slow the day after T'day. I love it; fun and informative. If I weren't self-assured and conceited I'd probably be envious. If you ever have a lot of cash lying around that you would like to invest in a NYCity location, let me know; if not, just send me some of your inventory so that you could have a second opinion...
