Beautiful rich, dark purple. Rich nose of creamy vanilla, tar and black fruit. Like flavors with almost no noticable tannins (smooth as WW negotiating a deal on a case of '87 Dunn Howell Mountain). This is an easy drinking, smooth, rich red that anyone, including red drinkin' wanna bees, will enjoy! A Chilean produced, owned by Kendall-Jackson wine. 13.6% Alc/vol. $8.99 Should be easy to find...40,000 cases produced.

Great wine and bought at the local grocer for less than $10. Great with any red meat and for just drinking without the food!

Drew this is a decent drink at a good price.

A good quaffer or a nice match for grilled meats - like hamburgers and even fancier stuff.

Drew,

Is Chilean Carmenères going to be the Next Big Wine? I recently had a 99 Carmen Chilean 60% Carmenère/40% cab sauv and absolutely loved it; received as a gift, but WS says ~$15.
