This is a little Vin de Pays de L'Heurault that is cheap as Kool Aid and has a nice, warm flavor profile leaning toward red fruit and mild spices, and even shows a bit of complexity. It's a tad rustic, carrying a few whiffs of leather and earth and has a tiny, bitter, flattering mineral note that works just fine. Won't make you see dead congressmen or hear bells but, at our price of $5.49 per, makes a dandy little everyday quaffer.
