- winecollector - 07-31-2001 Stopped down my favorite wine store yesterday and seen that they "discovered" a few dust covered bottles in the back room of the store. All 3 were unfiltered Mondavi Cabernets, one from 87' and two from 90'. Paid $25 a piece for all of them. I have to stop back down again soon and see if they found more. Now, if I could only do the same with some aged Bordeaux 1st Growths.... - winoweenie - 07-31-2001 WC is fast becoming the Drew-Boogs of Pa. WW - Drew - 08-01-2001 Way to go WC, I also found some '94 and '95 Sebastiani Cab going to the ocean to add to my '96 and '97...got this mini vertical thing going now. Drew - winecollector - 08-01-2001 I had the 97' Sebastiani Cab a couple months ago, and for under $20 was a dynamite drinker. You'll wanna buy more if you can. - winoweenie - 08-01-2001 Kindred souls and all that mushy stuff!. WW - winecollector - 08-06-2001 Went back for some more today.... 1987 Simi, and Kenwood Cabernet Sauvignons, $20.99 and $17.99 respectively, and a 91' Beringer Cab, for $24.99. I could get used to this! |
