Naturally, the derned stuff came whilst I`m on a sabattical so I had my next door neighbors coma over and opened a bottle. I`m the worlds1 worst spitter-outer but this lil` gem left an impression. Getting slow in his 'golden years': [img]http://www.wines.com/ubb2/wink.gif[/img] 1999 McPherson, Shiraz Cabernet, SE Australia, $8, 50,000 cases. Somewhat simple, but loaded with spicy plums and balancing acidity. Made in a drink-me-now style, this would complement a pasta with red sauce.
