I can't think of a better (or even as good) wine I've tasted for $20.
Massive minerality with the austerity that goes along with that, balanced by a truly rich Champagne-like yeastiness (Marc Ollivier reportedly gave this wine more lees-time than is techinically allowed by the Sevre-et-Maine wine laws). It's feathery soft yet maintains a crystalline focus.
I suspect it has decades to go in evolution.
Majorly impressive wine.
I'm getting a case.
It's $20.
Wow.

Great notes, and we'll look for it. Do you know, by chance, who brings it in?

Louis/Dressner

Looks like Polaner, also (maybe).

I've been happy with the Pepiere Muscadet I've tried in the past.

If you see this one, try it. I like his other wines as well, but this is a very different bottle.
