NV Morgan, Crow's Roost (A California Red Table Wine). Picked this up at a local wine tasting before the California trip. Couldn't visit the Morgan Winery in Salinas anyway because they don't have a tasting room. Anyhoo, the Crow's Roost in a journeyman Rhone Ranger in the $10.00 range. Must be widely available since it is right here in Bucksport. Nice almost purple color. Black raspberries upfront, slighty, nicely tannic with peppery overtones in the middle, and an assertive finish. Had it with some interesting burgers. Swung by to see our goose lady yesterday and picked up some ground beef from her Highland cattle. Made awesome burgers on English muffins with onions and the Rhoney red.

Sounds interesting enough to look for some. Sounds like it might go well with my vension burgers.

Yum!
