- mahaff - 05-19-2003 I am getting married in a few weeks and am looking for an inexpensive red and white wine for my reception. I am going to be serving around 150 guest and most likely purchasing around 2 cases of each, and would like the cost per bottle to be less then $10. Since I have little knowledge of wines I was hoping for some help. - Innkeeper - 05-19-2003 Hi Mahaff, and welcome to the Wine Board. Recommed an Australian Shiraz and one of their Unwooded Chardonnays. You also need a case of Spanish Cava for your toasts. If your local vender can't help you, contact www.southernwines.com at the soonest. - stevebody - 05-20-2003 Congratulations! My specialty, as a former caterer, at our shop, is wedding planning.
