Deep ruby. Tar, spice, earth, forest floor, and loads of black fruits. Very similar to the Estate bottling. Still has some soft tannins to shed. Maybe 1-2 will do the trick. Smooth entry, solid center, and a 3&1/2-lapper finish. 89/90. 29 by the box.14% alc. WW

Wrestled another of these for dinner last nite. Nose coming along and a slight more concentration in the mouth. Still needs another 1-3 to show its' colors. No scoring change. WW

Broke out the last of htis bottling and it's been very consistant. The finish has improved slightly to 3&3/4-lapper but not enopugh to change the scoring. Tom uses the younger vines in this bottling so the finished product doesn't have the depth of the Estate. WW
