Thought I'd try this since I liked the 2000 and was curious about a CDR from the '02 off, wet, vintage. Clear medium dark garnet. Subdued nose of raspberry, flowers and mineral. Like flavors that are muted and diluted also an off putting astringency on the very short finish. I found it barely drinkable but Eileen poured hers down the drain. One bottle, of course, doesn't define a vintage but this one was definately "washed out". 13.5% Alc/vol. $12.

Wasn't that whole vintage washed out, across the region? I haven't even found any 02s on the shelves. Went from 01 to 03 (which also wasn't too impressive but for a very few offerings).
