- VouvrayHead - 03-15-2007 $17 (Selectionne par Laurence Feraud) Awesome juice, this be. I was told this is Pegau's "house wine" and it's a mighty good one. Mostly Grenache with some Syrah and Carignan Dark, blackish-purple color, the nose is pretty intense with ripe dark berry and dirt. Medium body, with the intense dark fruit on the palate along with a strawberry note in the background with a light touch of animal and a hefty dose of spice, which fades in the long finish emphasizing the dark fruit and a mineral component. Complex and quite tasty. Only light tannins, drink 'em if you got 'em. I'm gonna buy me some more!!! oops, just saw a previous post about this. feel free to move it or leave it admin's!
