My wine guy suggested this wine as he knows how much I like syrah.

100% syrah, dark purple, nose of leather, earth, mushrooms, chocolate and black fruit. I let it open for 1 hour and the fruit commith thru. Very smooth but chewy style, thick mouth feel with flavors of mature dark fruit and ripe bing cherries even a little tobacco on the nice, slight pepper, finish. (That's where I taste the bing cherry) It's a Rhone from Saint-Gilles but can't find any thing else on the Chateau or wine rating. $10 but I paid $7.50 with a discount.
