Saw Thraz's posting on the 2005 so I thought I'd pop one of my 6 2003's. I always thought this one was tight and it's still so. It showed a little more this time with dark berry, dark chocoalate and an earthy component. Still lots of tannins and needs to sleep a lot longer. And then there's that 15% alc/vol.....hic!

Too bad - I had hoped I had found a consitent performer I could buy eyes closed next year. But then again, I have given up on southern Rhones from 2003 overall. I have found the ones I have tried pruney and that is not my style (not necessarily a flaw - just not my style).
