Cotes du Ventoux.
I used to drink this often years ago and haven't touched one in a very long time. While shopping the other day I noticed the 2007 La Vieille Ferme and thought I'd try one from the famed 2007 vintage. Not bad at all. It shows nice fruit, a grenache and syrah blend, with a little spice and finishes nicely with a slight, tannic grip. Would be a nice BBQ wine and I could see serving with a slight chill. Pretty good for $7.00 but with all the deals out there it's hard to spend the money on such a wine when for 2 bucks more you can take a hugh leap up in quality. 13.5% Alc/vol.

This used to be my house wine--for about six months,; then, got tired of it. But a solid inexpensive wine, to be sure.
