Had pretty low expectations for this CdR from Georges Duboeuf due to its low price, even though it is an estate-bottled wine. But it's a nice surprise, with a good CdR nose, while a bit short on the palate; not much there yet. A blend of Grenache and Syrah of unspecified ratio, with 12.5% alcohol. The price? A whopping $5.99! Enjoyed with a light snack-type supper of cheese and fruit, but should do well with burgers. I'll buy more and hope that it grows up with a little bottle age.
