Another nice one from the Languedoc, the Cote d'Oc in this case. A nice blast of fruity alcohol, smooth mouthfeel, good finish, without the harshness that sometimes characterizes wines of the Oc. And a bargain at $6.99. I smoked chicken breasts and grilled T-bones this afternoon, offering her a choice of entrees to go with baked spuds, baby peas and onions; she chose the chicken, and the wine worked with that just fine. I'll buy more.
