- Glass_A_Day - 09-03-2006 Interesting but less than inspiring Chateaueuf-du-Pape. Typically earthy, leathery etc, but enough fruit to make it a good bottle to have with surf and turf at Cook's Lobster House on my recent overnighter. Would be a redo at $15, but not the $40 we paid. - dananne - 09-03-2006 Do you remember the year? - hotwine - 09-03-2006 Believe that's "Les Sinards", GAD. I posted on the '03 back in June of this year, and we really enjoyed it. See http://www.wines.com/ubb2/Forum22/HTML/000553.html [This message has been edited by hotwine (edited 09-03-2006).] - Glass_A_Day - 09-03-2006 The Vintage was 02. Sorry I thought I posted on that. I guess your right HW. That fancy S looked like a fancy L. |
