Decanted 30 minutes before 1st pour. Bright ruby in color. Initial nose of strawberry and oak, with like flavors that seemed thin and dilute. I thought, "There isn't anything here." Over time, the flavors deepened a bit, and an earthy/clay element came in. Still, it seemed atypical for a CdP. Not unpleasant, but not what I was expecting. Alc. 13.5%. Don't know $, as it was a gift.
