Think this is Bobs' first venture in Paso Robles fruit for Syrah. Deep ruby. Nice nose of leather, bacon, forest floor and lots of black and red fruits. Must be from multiple sources as it wasn't a designated vineyard. Will ask next time I talk to him. A very well-made wine but not quite on par with Ojai, Qupe, Sea Smoke, or any of Brians' or Garys' offerings. 88/86. 30 by the box.ww

Does Brian Loring make Syrah wines in addition to the Pinots?

Don't think so. He can barely keep up with the PN. The stuff he makes now is wonderful. I'd hate to see him dilute his time and talents trying to go after another varietal.

Sorry. My fingers were typing whilst my brain was sleeping. ww
