Wow, really delicious stuff. I thought Stevebody or someone mentioned this in a recent thread but couldn't find it.

Dark ruby with lightening at the rim. Seems floral but my schnozz aint working right due to spring time allergies. Very full in the mouth with spicy sweet red berry, black cherry, cinnamon, tobacco and herb flavors and a little char oak? A very long finish and it packs quite a punch with the 15.5% Alcohol but it's not hot in the mouth. Delicious and a good value at $11.99.

Went back and bought a case of this stuff for $10 a bottle. One of the best $10 wines I've had. I orig. stated the price at $15 but was confused....retail is $11.99 and by the case $10 at my store. Go git you self some.

Snagged a bottle of the 2001 vintage for comparison. The 2001 is a little more elegant and toned down, imho, than it's older sister, with not quite the stuffing as the 2000. Still a tasty deal for $11.

Took a bottle with us to our first holiday party last night and it's developed into an even better wine. Same notes with the addition of port like hints and deeper tobacco notes. Tannins are silkier but still present en masse. A very age worthy Mourvedre for the $.

I haven't had some of this since last new years. Will have to give it another go as I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the reminder.
