- Bucko - 06-25-2000 I have seen mixed tasting note reviews of this wine, with many not too favorable. Let me tell you, if you do not like yours, send it to me -- I like it just fine. Carole cooked up a bistro dish from Provence tonight, which called for a CdP. Well, this is just what we were looking for in a CdP. A medium to full-bodied wine with all of the adjectives of smoked meat, black cherries, earthy aromas and flavors, cracked pepper, herbs and lovely acidity on a moderately tannic backbone. Delicious, and it was a perfect dinner match. Bucko - winoweenie - 06-26-2000 NOW THAT SOUNDS YUMMY! Winoweenie - Steve Goldblatt - 07-05-2000 Haven't opened one of my 94 Pegau's in quite sometime. I loved it when it was first released. What did dish did Carole prepare? - Bucko - 07-05-2000 Well, Goldfarb! Good to see you over here from AOHell. What else does it go with? The infamous 40 Fart Chicken dish, of course. Bucko - Steve Goldblatt - 07-06-2000 Buckmeister: was that the 40 shallot or the 40 garlic clove chicken? I made the 40 shallot chicken several weeks ago. Simply superb with the 1990 Beaucastel! - Bucko - 07-06-2000 Shallot....... phtttt! |
