- Drew - 04-14-2007 Can't seem to find anything about this CDR but it's a dandy. Clear dark black/ruby. Spicy black fruit with hints of herb de provance, loamy soil and chambord. Medium bodied with good structure and enough fine grained tannins that would support short term cellaring. A fine food wine. Really looking forward to the 2005 CDR and CDP wines if reports are correct. 13.5%Alc/vol. $12. Drew - dananne - 04-14-2007 Thanks for the note. FWIW, we liked the '01: http://wines.com/ubb/Forum22/HTML/000509.html - Drew - 04-14-2007 That was the CDP Dananne which I haven't seen in this area. Mine was the CDR. Drew - dananne - 04-15-2007 Whoops. My bad. Interesting, since I've only seen the CdP down here. If I happen across the CdR, though, I'll pick it up. |
