Decided to open this even tho I knew it would be way too early. Surprisingly it was far more accessible in the mouth than normal. Not much for aromatics for the 1st hour but then gave up a hint of what was to come. The tannins shut this down like any road in Scottsdale during the snow-bird season. Too early to really judge but seems to have all the components to develop into a keen bottle. WW

Opened this with lunch today with a crushed fried onion encrusted chicken breast. 1st time I've ever tried a receipe printed on a can. Did a slightl addition of ground pepper and sea salt before putting this in the oven. The wine has progressed swimmingly and was kick-patootie with the chickie. Nose has opened nicely and the finish has gained with the added time in bottle. Still needs another 2-5 to come into its' own. WW

Still progressing on schedule. Will benefit with another 2-4 but lovely now. No change in scoring. WW

After 03 Pinots decided to open this along with the Goldridge. Tom did a number on this spotty vintages in his management of the grapes and vinification of same. Both of these are the same quality as the Pinots and while the Estate is the best of the 2 don't believe enny-bodi would look for the terlit to dispose of the Goldridge. Both again in the low 90s'. Had the Estate for lunch yesserday. Nose has really grown in the last couple and is pretty heady stuff! Terrific depth and a masterful job of winemaking in this difficult vintage. Really good stuff and took the bad taste from my mouth watching the Jets mouth-out over the Pats. Should maybe improve over the next 1-3 and hold another 6-9. WW

Opened another yesterday with lunch. Not much to add except this line from a great song " 'Tis Bootiful". WW
