- barnesy - 10-20-2004 1998 Chateau Redortier Beaumes-De-Venise CDRV Needed a few minutes in the glass to open up all the way. Initially a bit of wood tannen on the nose and finish. Once it opened up. Bright dark cherries on the nose with a hint of black pepper. Same on the tongue with a enough balancing acidity. Very Smooth feel. Went well with a marinated flank steak. Barnesy - Thomas - 10-20-2004 That is one wine I have never come across. I'll have to seek it out. - barnesy - 10-21-2004 It is imported by Robert Chadderdon out of NYC. You should be able to get ahold of some of it for your shop. Barnesy - Innkeeper - 10-21-2004 Oh, oh! You missed the news. He be outta der now. - barnesy - 10-23-2004 Really? Still says new york on the label. What happened? Barnesy - Thomas - 10-23-2004 No Barnesy, IK meant that I am no longer at the store. Long story--but at my ripe age I am changing directions yet again... - barnesy - 10-27-2004 Gonna become a gigalo?
