1998 Chateau Redortier Beaumes-De-Venise CDRV

Needed a few minutes in the glass to open up all the way. Initially a bit of wood tannen on the nose and finish.

Once it opened up. Bright dark cherries on the nose with a hint of black pepper. Same on the tongue with a enough balancing acidity. Very Smooth feel. Went well with a marinated flank steak.

That is one wine I have never come across. I'll have to seek it out.

It is imported by Robert Chadderdon out of NYC. You should be able to get ahold of some of it for your shop.
