I don't know anything about wine and I don't drink it either but I've got a bottle which I think is quite rare as I can't find it on any of the wine pages.
on the bottle is printed:

Chateau de Beaucastel
chateauneuf-du-pape
appellation chateauneuf du pape controlee
Ste fermiere des vignobles pierre perrin
au chateau de beaucastel courthezon (Vse)
mis en bouteille du chateau

on the back is a sticker from the company that gave it to me which says:

White chateauneuf vintage is extremely rare. This 1987 bottle was one of the last to be found at the Queens personal vine merchants and nowhere else. This white wine is rarely produced, and then only for connoiseurs. 1987 was agood year, so this wine is rarer than ever.

Can anyone tell me if this is true and what it is worth and where I can find a description on the net?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yours

Linda Hope
