- wondersofwine - 08-11-2009 8% alcohol. A.P. No. 2 577 050 7 03 Light gold color. Some spritz when first poured. Orange blossoms and peach and apricot contribute to the nose. The taste is a little like meringue but with a peach base rather than lemon or lime. Seems to have botrytis (noble rot). Still shows some nice acids to balance out the sugar. Easy to quaff. I first had it with a dish of baked chicken and artichoke hearts. It's better as a dessert wine and went nicely with slices of fresh nectarine. Would also be nice with peach cobbler or apricot or peach pie. - TheEngineer - 08-12-2009 Sounds very nice WoW |
