Qualitatwein Trocken (dry)
$26.99 was the sale price at Bassin's (Macarthur Beverages) in DC last April.
Imported by Michael Skurnik wines. A Terry Theise estate selection. Uses screwcap closure.

Steel, stones and lemon-lime on the nose. Aromas carry over on the palate. Nicely crsip. Matched well to chicken with an asparagus sauce and rice one evening and fried chicken and potato salad another. I didn't take the time to prepare risotto but a lemony risotto would have been a nice pairing--maybe a risotto with diced heart of palm or artichoke heart mixed in. I have no regrets about this purchase.
