A pleasant wine with lots of pears, apples, and grapefruit on the nose and on the palate. The finish wasn't as gingery as I like in a Gewurz, but a hint of ginger was there nonetheless. It paired well with homemade Kung Pao Chicken, though I tamed the red chile somewhat in order to avoid conflict with the wine. All in all, a nice Gewurz, but I'll keep looking for those with more ginger. 12% Alc., $8. (Grapes and Grain, Mequon)
