Pale staw in color hides the density of this wine. Nose is elegant, if somewhat reserved, citrus rind, apple, honey. On taste, much the same with dose of stone fruit plus a nice minerality, slate and a good refreshing acidity to keep this from being coy.

For $18, this is AMAZING QPR. I can't believe I only bought ONE bottle.

I had a Studert-Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr a couple years ago that I thought was outstanding value. I will be opening a couple different Urziger Wurzgarten wines this summer so you shouldn't feel lonely on the German forum.
