I figured the name would get you [Image: smile.gif] It's from the Czech Republic. A souvenier bottle from a good friend

Great colour light golden with hint of green. Looks German so far [Image: smile.gif]

Nose has some sulfur match in it and then some mild cheese, funky, but that blew off quickly. THen it nosed a bit like an overripe mersault, and then that blew off and the mild cheese returned. Some rustic notes, bits of sweet fruit. On the palate, this is a dry riesling (just hint of sweetness). Good acidity, light and a bit weird but still a decent if unique drink. Could not possible mistake this for an Alsace or German riesling.
