You should get some really interesting responses to this one!
The question of what kind of wine to serve with chocolate came up a few weeks ago and stimulated a good discussion.
What kind of chocolate, sweet or bittersweet?
Domestic, or foreign? British? French? German?
Unless you're using a foreign bittersweet, I wouldn't bother - just toss the berries and enjoy the wine, no matter what kind it is. But if it's bittersweet, and you insist on a white, I'd go with a Champagne (a real one, not a domestic knock-off). A Sauternes would work, but for the kind of money you'd spend on that you can get a good bottle of bubbly, which is an aphrodisiac without any berries getting in the way.

Recommend Bonny Doon Vineyard, Muscat, Vin De Glaciere. Serve at 35 - 40 degrees F, in chilled tiny, tiny dessert wine glasses. It must have the desired aphrodisiac quality because it was made by Randall Grahm.

I would definitely recommend CHAMPAGNE or a FINE sparkling wine from California.
One of my favorites is Perrier-Jouet Fleur de Champagne. The 1990 is quite good. It is not inexpensive.
Another is 1990 Iron Horse Blanc de blanc which is a cali sparkling and is much less expensive than the Perrier.

Oh, how the boys do get riled at simple touch of a (computer) button! I have done just the NV Perrier-Jouet (about $32) with dark chocolate and raspberries, it was, very nice. The mood is more the thing then matching, so any good quaility sparkling wine will do,. You could try the Pacific Echo Blanc de Blanc (mid teens) or even St. Michelle at around $10 can work some magic. As for the aphrodisiac part, if you want, I have a recipe for pears in a port sauce, which IS considered an aphrodisiac (for the men!!!) in Portugal. K

Try a nice Moscato d'Asti with them -- it gives some pleasant sweetness along with the fizz.
