Hello
Thank YOu for your reply.
I was considering to alter my menu slightly doing instead of mushy potatoes cakes -a salad of tomatoes, baby greens, lettuce, cucumber with mild vinegear dressing, what kind of wine i can match? Following the rules of light to full bodied wines.

Well the tomatoes and vinegar brings you back to SB. A slightly lighter one like a Sancerre. Move to a Kabinett Riesling or riesling from Alsace with the herring.
