Good bright citrus flavors with some cream, minerals, and a touch of greenery. Intense on the mid-palate, finish is fairly dry with some more minerality and citrus. Nice wine, though not to my style. I preferred the Lallement last week, though opinion was split around the table. Again, it's hard for me to pay for Veuve or Taittinger or even my favorite big house, Bollinger, with the diversity and quality available from the smaller houses at similar price points. (Though I still wouldn't kick Duval-Leroy (or Bolligner, for that matter) out of bed)

Sadly, this is probably my last champagne note for a couple of months... I'm sure we'll be back to it after the baby is born!
