Hi! It's been a while since I posted, I can't believe I still remember my password! Anyways, I've really missed you all!

A dear friend was moving away, so he brought over a bottle of Moet et Chandon Champagne. He poored it, and made a very sentimental toast. It tasted great! I was really impressed with it. It was only after we had finished the bottle that I noticed the price tag said $30! Man oh man!

Anyways, it's better than the Ballatore champagne that I normally settle for. Unfortunately, I don't often have an extra $30 to spend on one bottle.

If you do get a little extra or want to splurge on champagne, look for Pol Roger or Egly-Ouriet. They are around $40 and exceptional at that price.

On the other hand, there is TONS of inexpensive sparkling wine out there that will give you more bang for your buck than Ballatore. Look for Cava from Spain, sparklings from other regions of france, and Italians sparklers. There are lots out there under 10 bucks that are darn good.

Thanks, barnesy! I appreciate the recommendations. Under $10 is ALWAYS my range! (Unless I'm going luny - which isn't as rare as I think!) And good wine is always my goal!
